Translation as follows:

and as for the little blurb inside the mono-color sketches:

"Sesshomaru has a daughter.
Time passes from the story of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, and the daughters of the brothers open a new legendary door."

We should get more information on Tuesday, with the next issue of Shonen Sunday and the 46th chapter of Takahashi's new seriel Mao.

Interesting news. But let's be honest. What more can they do with the franchise? With the original series, they just went on repeating themselves after episode 70 or 80. The second half was really just going through the motions.

"In Feudal Japan, Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a demon slayer working for Kohaku. But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister.
Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past."

Hanyou no Yashahime is its full name.

However--Takahashi is only overseeing character designs on this. She'll have N o t h I n g to do with the story or plot line process....Because she is working on MAO. (Which I'm translating week to week as it comes out in Shonen Sunday Japan, and posting the translations on tumblr). So essentially this sequel is going to be basically animated fanfiction...

BUT that's okay. It means that for the fans that don't like it, they can totally disregard it and claim its not actually canon. lol.

Which after some things came to light about the girls...I myself might wind up doing...Though we'll see. I won't judge till I see it in the fall.

I was 12 in 2003 (going on 13 that year) when I first read the manga for Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2. That's what made me aspire to be an anime-creator myself. Fast forward 17 years later and . . . boom, baby!! Published author!!

It should be available streaming on the Viz site a day or so after it airs in Japan. Also-I've little doubt that anime fansubs will likely get their hands on it and fansub it before even Viz--So you'll probably be able to find it on websites like gogoanime.com, or kissanime.ru.

As for When it'll air--(not that anyone asked that yet, but I know its only a matter of time.) It's confirmed that it'll air on Saturdays in Japan this fall at 5;#0 Japanese time~, so Fridays for us in the US, and its rumored that it'll start on Saturday, September 10th...But that's only a rumor at this point, I've found no factual posts from either Sunrise, Viz or the yashahime website to back this claim up...Yet...Lol.

Just as long as it is not a repetition of what has been done before. The original series started to get quite redundant by episode 70 or so.
