I am not sure if Domain of Murder is meant to be a stand-alone work, or if it is part of a series. Whatever. It’s still a pretty good story.

When a woman thinks a wanted murderer is her missing husband, private detective Goro Nanase takes the case. Eventually teaming up with a cop, who is an old friend of the missing hubby, tracking down the suspect turns into a race to save a young boy’s life.

Running time is less than an hour, so don’t expect any twists or turns, or character development. There’s no time for that. Also, don’t expect any grandiose animation. It’s all pretty basic.

But it is a good chase. I never lost interest. My attention was on the TV screen every moment. Domain of Murder is not a bad little anime, if you can find it. Try Netflix.
