Web Toon Characters
As we all know One Punch Man began as a webcomic. So there's nothing that says a character that's only appeared online won't get a popular series one day. Sinfest. Girl Genius. Sabrina. Zig Zag. Goth Mom. Looking for Group. Who are your favorite cartoon characters that at least started out online?
Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

My favorite would have to be One Punch Man, because it is the only anime I have watched which I know (now) started out on-line.
