Default War of the Worlds: Goliath, a Badass, Disturbing Animated Movie

What do you think of War of the Worlds: Goliath?

This animated movie which premiered in 2012 and won awards such as 3 Best Animated Film awards from the LA 3D Film Festival, Apollo Asia Image Awards, and the Malaysian Government, has a tough, high testosterone, muscular, badass, protagonist who is a tactical genius and leads the force that defeats the alien invaders, and this movie has lots of politically incorrect cursing, violence, gore, and disturbing scenes. The guy who made the movie, Joe Pearson, is also the creator of other badass, disturbing animated films like Heavy Metal (1981), Roswell Conspiracies: Aliens, Myths and Legends (1999), and Gen 13 (2000).

I listened to it. I remember that when this radio show was broadcast, people thought that it was news and panicked. Streets were jammed with traffic as citizens of various countries tried to escape.

What is even more interesting is that the weapons predicted in War of the Worlds became real.

The heat-ray was invented in 1943 by Nikola Tesla and is called the teleforce, it is a microwave beam weapon now used for crowd control and shooting down enemy aircraft:

The laser was invented by Theodore Harold Maiman in 1960 and is now used as a weapon by the USA.

Walking robots are also being experimented on for possible military applications. Below is Boston Dynamic's walking robot:

    Have you ever heard this?

I tried to find a single link to the entire album, but the only ones they had were some pretty sorry remixes which did not sound as good as the original.

Great piece of military music. Here is another one, a soundtrack of Starship Troopers:

Aside from predicting the use of heat-rays and robots in war, H.G. Wells also predicted the invention of the atomic bomb. After reading the works of William Ramsay, Ernest Rutherford, and Frederick Soddy regarding nuclear physics, H.G. Wells published: The World Set Free in 1914, a novel about the use of an atomic bomb in war.
