Best/Worst Anime of 2018

The ones mentioned that I have seen, and I liked them all:

Devilman Crybaby

Thanks to Netflix Streaming, I got to see all of these before their general release. I have write-ups on all of them in the review section, so check it out.

I also saw Flavors of Youth, which Robin in the video tells us not to see. I liked it.

I think it is season 3 of My Hero Academia which is currently on Adult Swim/Toonami.

Not mentioned are Hi Score Girl and Forest of Piano, both which I liked, and Back Street Girls, which was garbage.

I haven;t seen Happy Sugar Life, but with a name like that and the series supposidly being so dark, I have to see it. I just have to!

Comments on any of these?

I'm not going to watch the video right now because my husband is playing a game on his PC and I don't want to make too much noise so I'll watch it tomorrow while he's at school. That said, I don't usually watch anime I don't like, so I didn't watch all that much in 2018, but I'll talk a little about the shows I did see.

My Hero Academia is always a good time.
Food Wars is ridiculous but I love cooking shows so this was right up my alley.
Overlord is a favorite of mine, if that wasn't already obvious. I hope it continues.
-I want to watch A place further than the Universe, and during my time off from work these next few weeks I'll probably watch it
Goblin Slayer was awesome and is another favorite of mine. Whether they make more or not I think the show stands really well on it's own as is
Devilman: Crybaby was...certainly something. I don't really get it but it was certainly a trip that I would watch again
-I watched Darling and the Franxx but just couldn't bring myself to finish it. It was basically Gurren Lagann but something about it just didn't do it for me. Maybe the sense of "ok, I've seen this, and it's getting old." There's only so many times you can make sexual giant fighting robots and not get stale.
Dragon Pilot: Hisone and Masotan is super cute but I keep forgetting about it. I really need to watch the rest of that.

I think that's all I watched in 2018 but maybe the video will remind me of some I didn't mention here.

Mine favorite is Sword Art Online.. i remember i was in my school days when it was released in 2012. Loved it.

I think I only watched two series that were new last year: My Hero Academia season 3, Always love that series.


And Season 2 of The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K. Still mad at Netflix for stealing the rights to it, making Funimation not be able to do the Dub. - NOT to get on a Dub vs sub argument, but two things: One, I hate switching. If I watched an anime first dubbed, or first subbed, I generally won't enjoy it the other way. And 2: in Saiki there is a lot going on, and they talk fast, which makes the subs a tad more difficult.


After looking up what else came out in 2018, I guess I did watch the newest season of Free!, and Hinomaru Sumo which started in October and ended in Feburary.


I enjoyed all these shows.


With Free! about swimming, and Hinomeru Sumo about Sumo wrestling, it's really funny that I love sports anime when IRL I hate sports. But some of my favorite animes are sports related.
