Q: Are you a fan of the mega-successful Dragon Ball series? Also, what are the pros and cons for you regarding the franchise?
GT was bad.
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
I watched Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z when I was maybe 14 or so? I really only watched it for a little while - the androids through Buu, or visa versa since I can't remember which came first. I stopped watching Dragon Ball when I stopped watching DBZ.
My turn off was the pacing. Conflict seemed to drag on forever and couldn't hold my interest.
I was a fan of Dragon Ball Z, to the extend I dug up the original Dragon Ball series -- with Goku as a kid.
But eventually it got pretty old. Each new Dragon Ball series became basically a repeat of what we saw before. Plus the stories moved so slowly. I am not even bothering with Dragon Ball Super.
BTW, how many DBZ characters does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Just one. But it takes seven episodes to do it.
I hope you don't like Super then. It copies GT in a lot of ways.
While I do agree there is way too much talking during the fights, I did enjoy watching it. I've watched it all. Super on the other hand is what is really destroying the franchise in my opinion. A few things bug the grozit out of me.
1. Future Mai should not be the same age as future Trunks. Mai was turned young again in the Z fighters timeline. The timelines are completely different. Otherwise Trunks would have changed the future when he went back to help the Z fighters in DBZ.
2. At the end of Super, in the tournament of power, the competing universes were said to be the weakest of all of them. Yet they were stronger than the gods of destruction.
3. SSG/SSGSS and golden Frieza... At least GT had NEW transformations. A color change is just a pathetic excuse of content for someone that is running out of ideas fast.
4. I also hated the new Broly movie. Let's tell everyone that the best villain in DBZ is no longer canon and then make a movie about it..
I said a few, but I could pick at the flaws all day.....
Akira Toriyama's a genius, though.

this is the first anime I read with watppad in mobidescagar
Jackie Coogan, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Reisner as the Bully.
Reisner was a former pro boxer who turned actor, writer, and director. He previously worked for Chaplin behind the camera on The Gold Rush. Reisner would later become known as a comedy director working with The Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and Abbot and Costello, among others.
