My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
I find that when anglicized, Japanese words are pretty easy to say. Now if you are talking about the actual, bona fide pronunciation. . . . Well, I don't have much of an ear for language anyway. (Odd because I do have an ear for music, which supposedly is processed in the same region of the brain as language -- and math. But I hate math.)
Anyway, I once heard the correct Japanese pronunciation of Kurosawa. It was not ku-ro-SA-wa, as we English speakers pronounce it. I couldn't repeat the Japanese pronunciation. Too difficult.
Jackie Coogan, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Reisner as the Bully.
Reisner was a former pro boxer who turned actor, writer, and director. He previously worked for Chaplin behind the camera on The Gold Rush. Reisner would later become known as a comedy director working with The Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and Abbot and Costello, among others.
Took me a while to pronounce Inuyasha, since I started off reading the manga first.
