Satsuki to actually be good and just raising an army to stop her mother. I also never expected the relation between them and Ryuko.

Another Trigger anime, Little Witch Academia.

 

I would have never guessed Akko's hero was the very reason it was so hard for her to use magic.

I would never have guessed there were two Boogiepops, had I not read the closing credits in episode 1 or 2.

When there was a cover up of her brother gone missing & attempted cover up of the boys getting caught in tank 99. I did like the part where she said quit calling me an idiot.
