My Grandmama's cousin made out a genealogy for us that I went through.


QB: Who were your ancestors?



My Grandmama's family came from England. Her grandmother, though, was full-blooded Cherokee and raised her. Mama also always told me growing up that our family line started with Bertha. Later on, I was on another forum for ministers of the ULC and told this and a Vitki(an Asatruar/Viking Minister) told me that Bertha was another spelling for Perchta - and that Perchta was a Christianization of the Goddess Freyja. Sounds like we either descended from the Norse Gods(not likely? don't want to sound conceited) or our ancestors were Priestesses of Freyja.


QC: What did they do?


As far as my English ancestors, the Ashcrofts, I have no idea what they did. I know that Mama's sister left school to join the Navy and then came back and joined Job Corps and had a successful life thereafter. My Mama(grandmother), though, she was a housewife and did odds and ends. There wasn't a lot of male presence in my life growing up - and I get the idea it was because she was striving for her independence and once she got it she wasn't giving that power up to anybody thereafter. My grandfather's family, though, were notorious for having children, having rambling fever, and never paying bills on time(or ever?), abandoning said families, and loving free food.




QD: Where did your family come from?



Mama's grandmother was full-blooded Cherokee and she married into a white family. I remember seeing black and white photographs of her standing next to the aunts. All these little blonde and red-headed women were like a whole foot shorter than her in the pictures and she was so dark that she was nearly black in the picture. I don't know a whole lot about my family other than stories Mama told me over the years. I wish I could ask her more questions but she passed on to the House of the Sun to be with our family. I'm at peace with her death, though, and that means a lot.

I haven't traced my ancestry very far but I'll answer as best as I can.

QA: Have you traced your roots back to a few centuries ago through genealogy sites or through your loved ones?
I've only traced back through my loved ones.

QB: Who were your ancestors?
Mostly German, almost equal parts Polish, and a small sliver of Swedish.

QC: What did they do?
My mom's side is/was military and musical. My dad's side is blue collar/plumbing/glass working.

QD: Where did your family come from?
My immediate family, including grandparents, are all from the states. However, their parents are from Germany and Poland.

C: they used to kill dragons or anyone who invaded their ancestral land, until the Romans zerg rushed them

My Aunt and grandma did.

german royalty, nathaniel green, jesse james, the Goddard family, at least on cherokee indian... my ancestors had sex with everyone.

QC: What did they do?

had sex. Died.

Well i have some relatives in oregon my grandpa said still run a horse ranch.

Well when two people like each other a lot and have had a little too much to drink...
