Q: Are you fluent in a language other than English?
I can speak and understand Jamaican Creole (patois), but I mostly talk in American English - perfectly, I might add.

What do you call someone who knows two languages? Bi-lingual.
What do you call someone who knows three languages? Tri-lingual.
What do you call someone who knows only one language? An American.
