The first anime I ever watched in full. It was a bit slow imo but pretty decent, and I loved the OP of season one. I know every word to the full version
My mood on a daily basis
it's all relative, of course, but i do strongly recommend giving a series such as "Ai Yori Aoshi" a shot, -if you haven't yet already-
if you'd like to see what a real, well-animated, Romance Anime is like. then, there are also well-known romance classics like CLANNAD, as well.
again, all relative, to each their own. Personally, IMO, Spice and Wolf singularly fails at exactly what those two series above,
-and several others out there- manage to accomplish with considerable Aplomb.
ultimately, this is a somewhat elaborate way of saying i was quite roundly disappointed indeed by Spice and Wolf...

I watched the first season of Spice and Wolf. I did like it. The growing relationship between the two main characters was fun and interesting to watch. It seems to me that the closer Lawrence got to Holo, the more distant he grew from his fellow humans.
I have yet to see season two.
Jackie Coogan, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Reisner as the Bully.
Reisner was a former pro boxer who turned actor, writer, and director. He previously worked for Chaplin behind the camera on The Gold Rush. Reisner would later become known as a comedy director working with The Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and Abbot and Costello, among others.
