Aretha Louise Franklin, known as the Queen of Soul, passed away at 76 just a couple of days after a report came out about her being ill in her Detroit residence. Best known for hits like "RESPECT", "(You make me feel like) A Natural Woman", "I Never Loved a Man the Way I Loved You", "Sistas are Doin' it for Themselves", "Spanish Harlem", "A Rose is Still a Rose", "Rock Steady", "Jump to It", "Freeway of Love", "Who's Zoomin' Who", "Chain of Fools", "Until You Come Back to Me (That's What I'm Going to Do)", "Something He can Feel", "I Knew You were Waiting (For Me)", "Baby I Love You", "(Sweet Sweet Baby) Since You've Been Gone", "Think", "Share Your Love with Me", "Call me", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Don't Play That Song (You've Lied)", "Day Dreaming", "Angel", "I'm in Love", "Break It to me Gently", "Jump to It", "Get It Right", and many more; she was a figurehead and powerhouse artist among the Gospel, R&B, and Pop genres, and held in high regards amongst other artists in other genres as well.
