Actually, based on the article, it seems these adults are not the same people who brought the kids into the country. They are just crooks trying to take advantage. This would not be happening if Trump did not take the kids away from their real parents, or if ICE bothered to keep records on who was going where.

I was more talking about the seperating and detention centers at the boarder, that everyone wants to blame trump for them breaking the law.

Edit: What they go through in Mexico is bad, yes. And I'm not heartless, I DO feel bad for them. But that doesn't change what the laws are, and they are there for a reason. We have too many homeless or unemployed to let others just walk in here and apply for assistance. If they come here legally, I'm 1000% fine with that.

So if you are in an abusive relationship, and you feel like killing them is the only way out, should the law against killing be ignored because it's the 'only way out of a bad situation.'? Law just doesn't work like that. I feel bad for Mexicans in that situation, but letting them in the country without the proper channels isn't the answer.

The same arguments were used to keep my family out of the US. Fortunately there is chain migration which allowed some cousins who were here already to get them in. Otherwise they would have been stuck in Nazi Europe. I'd like to think the US came out ahead in this, since all children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are productive citizens. Immigrants made America!

BTW, did you hear foreign immigrants who have enlisted in the US military are being deported? All they did was offer to help defend a country they hoped to be a part of.

I don't really see how this makes a difference. I never said they were the ones who brought the kids into the country, I said they were using these children as a means for anchorage or sexual exploitation. ..and yes it still would be happening as exploitation of those who have cross the boarder has been happening under the Clinton administration, the Bush administration and the Obama administration. The trip into the United States is not an easily traversed route, many of them go through deserts, many run out of water and food. There are people that will kidnap them, especially women and children. I am all for individuals who want to come here, but pretending that illegal immigration doesnt create an illegal market of human trafficking is naive.

I am saying those trying to pickup those kids are obviously not the ones who brought them across the border, and that there would not have been a problem if ICE would have taken the time to keep records on who was going where. Or did they actually think some five year old could find his parents on their own?

Throughout my life I've always tried to treat everyone with the same level of respect.
Unfortunately a certain group of people always cause problems in the area in which I live. When it happens, I usually disregard it and blame it on the individual. But after 15 years of constant problems/crimes my patience wares thin.
I still do my best to try to treat people I meet with the same level of respect, but somewhere in my brain warning bells go off, even if the acquaintance has done nothing wrong. I try and suppress these thoughts but I feel somewhere deep down, my brain has found a way for me to avoid certain people. I can't help but feel like a racist.

I've never read the book, but hearing how popular it was, and knowing the 3 would be released once a year, I had it planned out: I was going to wait until the third year, and a week or two before the third came out, I would rent the first two. But by the time the third came out, I didn't care anymore.

I'm gay, and I think the whole pride thing is ridiculous. Like, I get the idea behind it, and I don't think the parade itself is bad, but the rest of the year, and even the rest of 'pride month'... I just don't get it. I'm not ashamed that I'm gay, but I'm not PROUD of it either? It's just who I am. IMO some of people's 'pride' attitudes does more harm than good.

Climate change is perfectly natural and the biggest contributor is (and has always been) solar output, not mankind. Tell you what: I'll start curbing my carbon emissions as soon as industrial companies, electrical energy providers, methane-producing termites, weapons of mass destruction, ionosphere manipulation systems (HAARP for example), and of course, the Sun start curbing theirs or otherwise cease to exist.

If it's any consolation, I may not be gay (though some might debate that but whatever), but as someone whom is both asexual and polysexual I get where you're coming from. In an ideal world, everyone's sexual preference would be accepted (well not a paedophile's, but you get the point) and so wouldn't be a big deal; but in the real world I don't believe you can just force unconditional tolerance onto a heterosexual majority, or for that matter, any majority whose sense of "normal" would be challenged. It takes time for a people to adapt and prevailing attitudes cannot be simply changed through government-funded programs, political correctness, safe spaces, addressing others with alternative pronouns, segregation, censorship, or indeed, events such as Pride. I was born in a generation where attitudes to gay, black and mixed-race people were waaay more hostile than they are now; and it wasn't those who subscribed to the aforementioned crutches who changed them, but those who worked hard, competed economically in spite of the uneven playing field, and didn't draw attention to themselves.
