Q: Which Shonen anime are in your top 5?
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
One Piece
1. Digimon
2. Dragonball
3. Yu Yu Hakusho
4. Cowboy Bebop
5. Gundam Wing
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
No particular order:
1. Cowboy Bebop
2. Fate series
3. B: The Beginning
4. Ajin: Demi-Human
5. Stein's Gate
6. Durarara and DurararaX2
7. Baccano
That's more than five.
Boggiepop Phantom comes to mind, but I am not sure that is considered Shonen.
Shonen is supposed to appeal to boys under 18. I really don't know what Japanese boys under 18 go for. There are other series I can mention, but I would consider them more for adults.
Jackie Coogan, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Reisner as the Bully.
Reisner was a former pro boxer who turned actor, writer, and director. He previously worked for Chaplin behind the camera on The Gold Rush. Reisner would later become known as a comedy director working with The Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and Abbot and Costello, among others.
-Hunterxhunter
-Fullmetal Alchemist
-My Hero Academia
-Yuyu Hakusho
-Mobile Suit Gundam Wing

While shonen means it appeals to teen boys, I would think My Hero Academia would appeal to both guys and gals. There are plenty of female characters, while just supporting, still stand out strong. I've only seen the episodes aired on Adult Swim, but I have a feeling as the series progresses we will see a lot more of the supporting characters, including female, who will develop their own following.
Fullmetal Alchemist is certainly shonen, but it has a lot of female followers. The potential romance between Ed and Winry brought them in -- and they were all left very angry when the two did not get together in the original series and the follow-up movie. I would comment on the remake, but the spoiler tag is not working.
