It's the 17th line down, where it says 「これが運命だ」, it should be「これが定めだ」。It definitely says "sadame" in the romanji lyric version and in the song itself, but for whatever reason it says "unmei" right now in the kanji version.

As a side note, in the Correction Guidelines I don't understand the whole thing about PMing the translator and then the Admin... The translator hasn't logged on for six years apparently, and if we need to PM the Admin, what's the point of the link for submitting corrections directing us here and making a forum post at all???

I've definitely seen written unmei, sung sadame before in Japanese; it's not a mistake, it's just how the song was written, unless you can find some official kanji that disputes this.
The closest I've gotten to proof that it isn't a mistake is Vocaloid Wiki has the same written unmei sung sadame thing going on though.

The correction guidelines appear to be kinda outdated as well. As far as I know, posting here with the link to the page (like what you have done) will suffice and a mod will fix it. The only time when the original transcriber/translator is needed is when a subjective change (such as in the translation or between two similar sounding readings) is requested. Spotting a typo or a clearly wrongly transcribed word is fine- if you can provide some proof for this if asked.

Okay... Well in that case I'm definitely confused. I hadn't run into that before and didn't even think to look to see if the kanji are frequently switched like that... But I thought it was a mistake because I went to that song to look up the kanji for "sadame", and found "unmei" instead. I found another One Piece song where the translator actually makes a note about this, but with no explanation. And the kanji for "unmei" have no kunyomi nor onyomi in the dictionary indicating they would be able to be read "sadame". So...guess it's some sort of modern tweak to the kanji used informally??? Eh heh, in any case, thanks for the enlightenment.

Yeah, it's a huge thing in song lyrics in general to write one word in the lyrics and sing another. Sometimes there's furigana to indicate this and sometimes there aren't. It actually varies just within this particular song--if you look at the kanji lyrics on the site you can see that there are actually a number of words that are read differently from how they're written where the actual word that's sung is indicated in parentheses after the kanji.

The lyrics as they currently are do seem to be correct; every source I can find has 運命, including Utamap, which is one of the sites we generally consider to be reliable: http://www.utamap.com/showkasi.php?surl=k-130529-189

Anyway, I should really update the guidelines to clarify when to PM me/the translator and when to just post a thread--the latter is usually the best way.
