FLCL Progressive/Alternate Soundtrack Preview?
As with the original, The Pillows will be used for the soundtracks of FLCL Progressive and FLCL Alternative. From what I read on-line, again there will be no original songs, but rather songs taken from previous albums.
So here is the most recent Pillow CD, from 2014, which I could find on YouTube. Some of these songs sound like they would be great for Progressive and Alternative. Give a listen.
Jackie Coogan, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Reisner as the Bully.
Reisner was a former pro boxer who turned actor, writer, and director. He previously worked for Chaplin behind the camera on The Gold Rush. Reisner would later become known as a comedy director working with The Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and Abbot and Costello, among others.

They are not supposed to be hard core punk. They do have some nice melodies and are just easy to listen to.
