They can do all the things they won't let american cartoon characters do.
Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

No story, no interest. Unless the artwork and imagery are really, really, really, really way above the normal standard. But how often do you see that?
