Q: What anime scenes did you think were hella’ gory?
My Wi-Fi, it's gone out . . .
Practically every scene in Elfin Lied. OK, not practically. But more than gore, that some of the blood shed was of or by children was shocking.
There are plenty of gory scenes in Shiki.
Especially at 10:23.

Jackie Coogan, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Reisner as the Bully.
Reisner was a former pro boxer who turned actor, writer, and director. He previously worked for Chaplin behind the camera on The Gold Rush. Reisner would later become known as a comedy director working with The Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and Abbot and Costello, among others.
Well I'm going to bring up corpse party again, it's so gory and horribly violent. And it's not just one scene it's all of them.
Not the most gory but damn is Guts brutal.
Watch at your own risk
The ones I watched that had gore in it which made me shocked was Elfen Lied, Another, Ninja Scroll and Parasyte.
I'm sure there's a lot more out there though that are gory. These are just the ones I've watched.
Not too gory, in my opinion but then again some people find psycho pass disgusting. Pretty cool though
Hellsing Ultimate was gory, but it really went beyond what the story required. Oceans of blood? Really?
On the other hand, with Elfin Lied the gore served the story-line. Therefore it did not seem over-the-top. Although seeing such violence by and against children is certainly disturbing.

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

^ Sometimes going over the top defeats the purpose. If you go all out on blood and gore, do you forget about the story? That last clip I stopped watching before the two minute mark. It was just too ridiculous.
Baccano handled blood and gore quite well. It played a part in the story without overshadowing it.

You miss the point. It is not the gore. It is how well the gore fits into the story. If you just want gore for the sake of gore, go watch Happy Tree Friends.
BTW, for those who don't know, Blue Oyster Cult was a music group. They did not do anime.
