Since the anime is Japanese, I think you are asking about the wrong language.

I don't know what "burning-eyed" means. But "burning eyes" are the same as dried eyes. If you have an allergy or cold, and your eyes dry out and become red and itchy, that is burning eyes. Not knowing the anime, I have no idea if this is relevant. Probably not.

What is Shakugen no Shana about?

The wrong language? What do you mean? You mean that the translation of the title is wrong?

I don't know what "burning-eyed" means. But "burning eyes" are the same as dried eyes. If you have an allergy or cold, and your eyes dry out and become red and itchy, that is burning eyes. Not knowing the anime, I have no idea if this is relevant. Probably not.
You don't know what "burning-eyed" mean. But I thought that it was English, that it was an expression often used. I found the expression "Burning-Eyed" with this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakugan_no_Shana. The translation is in the beginning of the article.

What is Shakugen no Shana about?
I can't really explain. You can find information by clicking on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakug...and_characters

Thank you for your answer even if it doesn't really answer to my question...

I mean translating language can be tricky. Words in one language may not be translatable to another. So a Japanese title may lose its true meaning when translated into English.

I don't go by Wikipedia. (No fact checking.) Burned-eye may have a meaning in Japanese, but like I said things lose their meanings in translation.

Anyone can post anything to Wikipedia. No one associated with that site will check to see what is or is not true.

Plus their entries on anime series contain too many spoilers.

They aren't. That's all there is to it. Burning eyed doesn't even mean anything. It's grammatically incorrect as far as I'm concerned.

My guess is that Burned Eye is a literal translation of a Japanese term. While it means nothing in English, it might mean something in Japanese. Japanese speakers, how about it?

Do you think that Wikipedia can invent words that are grammatically incorrect?
