I just finished the second season of Sword Gai. I posted a write up on it.
Jackie Coogan, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Reisner as the Bully.
Reisner was a former pro boxer who turned actor, writer, and director. He previously worked for Chaplin behind the camera on The Gold Rush. Reisner would later become known as a comedy director working with The Marx Brothers, Jack Benny, and Abbot and Costello, among others.

Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. A cute & funny anime with some exciting races about a bunch of horse girls born with the spirits of horses from another world. It was a lot better than I expected and absolutely hilarious. One impressive thing about it is that each girl is designed after a real world race horse. A pretty neat detail regarding that is how the ribbons they wear represent the gender of the real world horse they're designed after, for example a ribbon on the right ear means the real horse is male, where a ribbon on the left means it was female.

I just finished watching Ouran High School Host Club for the billionth time. It always amazing to me how such a goofy show ends on such a serious note- like the last 5-6 episodes it slowly turns into a drama, and by the end, it's practically all serious. -And I love it, don't misunderstand. It's just surprising.

Jashin-chan Dropkick. It has probably my favorite all-time opening and I loved every second of the anime. Absolutely hilarious and I was sad to reach the final episode.
A gothic lolita named Yurine buys a grimoire from a used book store and summons the half-viper devil, Jashin, who becomes bound to her as a result. The only thing Jashin wants is to go back home to hell, but that can only be achieved with a return spell or by killing Yurine. The show follows Jashin, her friends from Hell, an angel who has lost her halo, and Yurine. They go about their daily lives as Yurine tries to find volume 2 of the grimoire while Jashin tries many, many times to kill her.
Lots of violent comedy with a ton of references to the manga.

I finished Fullmetal Alchemist and Angelic Layer. Loved both.
Now you have to watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa, which completes the original series. Then start on the redo, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
Then there is Fullmetal Alchemist: The Secret Star of Milos, which fits somewhere within the original series.
Sorry, I can't translate the Japanese.

A Sister's All You Need.
A hilarious romantic comedy about a young novelist obsessed with little sisters. Despite the name and first 2 minutes, it's actually not a "sister romance" and isn't too bad. It has a lot of dirty jokes.
Also, a lot of anime references, including: A Certain Magical Index, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Eromanga Sensei, I Don't Have Many Friends, Zero no Tsukaima, KonoSuba, Re:Zero, Unlimited Blade Works, and probably a few others that I missed.

Movies probably don't count in this topic but I'm gonna say it anyway... XD
I got the chance to go out of town and see the My Hero Academia movie last week. Was really good, and interesting.

Just finished watching Toradora! for the first time since it came out. I really liked it.
I feel bad for saying it but, I was actually really happy they didn't end up running off and eloping. I'm even kinda glad Taiga ran away for a while. I still want them to be together eventually (And the credit scene was making it seem like that would happen) But they spent all this time talking about how irresponsible both their parents were. Running off together with not much of a plan just wouldn't have worked long term. Even when they got his moms approval, and the thought they would be together then, I am still glad they didn't rush into it.
I remember the first person I was in love with- In love love. Or at least I thought so at the time. I almost laugh about it now. He got me through some tough times, but over all, realistically, it just wouldn't have worked. You should take the time to get to know the person you want to spend your life with. And I mean, they did know each other, but by the time the confessed, it was pretty much, "I love you, lets elope."
I wish I could remember. (I said in the 'currently watching' thread that I didn't remember much about it at all other than I liked it.) I almost bet watching this 9-10 years ago, I was probably upset at the ending that they didn't go live happily ever after. But now that I'm older, I am glad she decided to take a breath, step back, and make sure that's what she really wanted. He seemed to be secure that his feelings wouldn't change, and if hers didn't they had a whole life to be together. So I'm glad they didn't rush into anything.
Castlevania
The Dragon Prince (season 1)
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (season 1)
LEGO Elves: Secrets of Elvendale
Castlevania had 2 seasons and I watched both.
Both "The Dragon Prince", and "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power" clearly are going to go on for more than one season, as the last episode of season 1 for each of these ends without the story being complete. So now I'm waiting for season 2 for both of these.
The LEGO Elves anime was just one season long, and the story is over. The only way for a season 2 to be made, is if they decide to expand the story by creating a new villain that needs to be defeated.

I believe there is a third season of Castlevania upcoming. The end of season 2 sure set it up. I wonder if somehow Dracula will make a comeback. He always did in the movies.

Angel Beats. It was pretty good and feelsy, though the pacing at the end felt a bit rushed.
Zombieland Saga. 100% recommend it. It's hilarious and follows a group of zombies trying to become idols. Even if you don't like the idol stuff, the show is comedy gold and the story gets really good as it goes on.

Darling in the Franxx. Highly recommend it. It's basically about these kids who co-pilot special mechs and fight these things called Klaxosaurs. It has a lot of obvious influence from Evangelion and Gurren Lagann, and has most of the clear trademarks of a Trigger anime.
Goblin Slayer. Absolutely brutal at times but I loved it. Very entertaining and it has a lot if really likeable characters. It's about a Priestess and guy named Goblin Slayer who go around slaying goblins. But be warned, it's pretty brutal at times, as the goblins are prone to rape and torture, which is demonstrated on a throwaway character in episode one.
