Nah. There is no inactive & non-dead. AF is still active more than smallest anime community. This AF is first begun in 2000 years. It's been anniversary 17th! I love this. I was born in 2000 lol.

MAL tries to avoid stuff that creates cliques and elitism. The rep bar is really outdated, the thank post is pretty uneeded, but I guess the like button is pretty cool.

As I said, I have invited many people here (this year even). Most people look at the site and are either disinterested or laugh. Nobody wants to come here when better options exist and more experienced anime fans are there to talk with.


This site has no redeeming qualities that other places don't do better. Its just a waste of time to them. Can you blame them?
