Anime Project submitting to Toei Animation

Hello
We are going to be submitting an Anime to Toei Animation in Japan. The Character profiles, Synopsis and Script for Episode 1 are complete and at the editors for final touch up. What we do not have yet are Character Profile Pictures. So here we are looking for Anime Artists to draw the profile pictures. If anyone is interested in doing this please email [email protected] and put Pirate Clans Anime in the subject line. We will send back the 9 character profile descriptions feel free to pick any one of them or all for submission and send back with completed drawings. We will choose the ones we like and submit as part of the main submission. All other submissions will also be sent along with to Toei Animations as the ones we like may well not be the ones they like. If Toei Animations accepts the Anime the chosen Character Pictures will likely be the basis for the actual anime.

Good luck. Production companies have their own writers and artists. They seldom, if ever, take submissions from outside. The odds of a copyright violation law suit are too great. Odds are they won't even take a look. Sorry. That's the way it is with unsolicited ideas.

I recommend getting an agent if you still want to proceed. Try independently producing your work.

Yes we are aware We did our research and Toei Animation will actually accept submissions though for a serious review it is best to have all submissions writen in Japanese so we are having to translate our submission. Also the closest our anime comes to any other Toei Animation owns the rights too, which is indeed why we are making the submission to them.

Lots of luck. If that is true, I am sure they get a lot of submissions. I still suggest you approach an agent. An agent may help you get additional leads if Toei says no.
