Is Kill La Kill opening song a parody like the rest of the show?

I was wondering is Kill La Kill's opening song (Sirius by Eir Aoi) a parody of other songs like the show is suppose to be a parody of many things?

The reason why I am asking this, when I listen to the song. It has some tid bits that sound similar to other songs.

For example:
Hearts Grow by Yura Yura
Houki Boshi by Younha
Itazura na Kiss by Day After Tomorrow

Any other songs, you think Sirius by Eir Aoi sounds similar too?

I guess you can call Kill la Kill a parody. It is most certainly what I call dumb, but fun. The premise, which does not become clear until the last half of the show is totally idiotic -- in a good way. I recommend it.
