[1] I know "enable" is a bit far afield from the literal meaning, but "affirm" sounded too... positive? Like, the people in question are never going to change their behavior or get rid of their bad habits, because all their friends are doing the same things, so the friends are all "nah, you're fine," because they either don't think it's a problem or don't want to confront the fact that they need to change their own behavior... is the gist, I think, and none of the dictionary definitions of 肯定 quite got at that for me. Is it a reasonable liberty to take, do you think?

[2] Just want to double-check if I'm parsing this correctly--multiple negatives make my head hurt a little, y'know?

[3] Again, this is a pretty loose translation, but literal isn't gonna cut it here ("tonight, with me, you can get wet"? I don't think so), so it was the best I could think of, unless someone's got a better suggestion?

Personally, I see the 「そうだそうだ」part as their way of 肯定する....ing each other (wow, that came out weird).

I think the 「に」most likely means "and" here.

I think the 「ごめんだ」in this case is the, "I have no intention [whatsoever] of...", "I refuse to..." meaning of the word.

[2] Translated literally, I think this expression in this context is more like, "What doesn't exist, just doesn't exist."/"If it doesn't exist, it just doesn't exist."
(or on a slightly unrelated note, if there's money involved, I guess it could also be translated as "I can't give you what I don't have!" or something like that.)

Whoops, yeah, I forgot that was a thing.

Yeah, I guess that does make more sense. It's just one of those things that seems to have two completely opposite meanings, and it was doing my head in a little.
