On PC : Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Man some of these answers make me feel super old... My first games, I think, were on the Atari. (Though that was old at that point, but still.) Soon after my brother got a NES for Christmas and I played SMB.
My first game was Mario and one more, but I do not remember the exact name! It was something about turtles on the spaceship. Maybe someone can help me remember?
The first....
I was very young and barely understood video games at all. I wasn't convinced that they were real (I was probably five) and couldn't work out if you really could control what was happening with a controller, or if it was just a TV screen that people pretended with.
So, I was at a family friend's house and playing a jet-ski game. I've since tried to figure out what it was, and I'm guessing from the time period that it was either "Wave Race 64" or "Jet Moto".
I remember the whole time that I was playing I was testing the controls to try and figure out if I was really moving them with my own will. XD
Some older boys were playing against me, and they wouldn't let me win - which was fine. I was used to that sort of thing. It made me try harder. Eventually, I accidentally discovered a hidden shortcut that they hadn't known about and beat them. They were in such disbelief; I just remember laughing so much.
After that, I was introduced to other Nintendo games on various consoles (SNES, 64, GBA) and also PS1 games.

The first game was "The Hobbit", then I played "Need for Speed", I went through all the parts that came out before 2012. Then he no longer followed the release of new parts, he switched to World of Warcraft.
my first one will show my age ....space invaders
Prince of Persia 1989. we had a DOS computer back in the day and my father renamed the file with my name to teach me how to spell it every time I wanted to play it haha, clever old man.
Pokémon Blue, on a borrowed Gameboy. I look back and think about how amazing it was to sink into another universe and live an adventure. Quite innocent back then... just like now? Duh!
But yeah, even if right now it is just a bag of bugs and old graphics, it means a lot to me. And to a lot of people as well!
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It was like in 2008 or something, I had gotten access to a CD of it and installed it in my PC. It worked very slow but it was quite enjoyable and fun.
Does Mario count? He played in deep childhood on the Dandy console. I used to stay up very late.
Remember those little handheld things?
Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.
