[1] I know 鬼の首を取ったように is an expression, but I can't really think of a good English equivalent, and just saying "as if you've really accomplished something great" or whatever seems lackluster, so I'm not sure what to do with it. What's more important, though, is that I'm not sure what the overall meaning of this stanza is in the first place. How does any of this stuff fit together?

[2] Literally it's something like "nobody shares their listening ears," but that sounds weird, and I'm assuming "nobody's going to listen to you" is what it's getting at (especially by analogy with the second chorus)? But I'm not totally sure, because this song is weird.

[3] I'm taking liberties to avoid redundancy, but do you think it's too much? "Show me real honesty" or something could work, I guess.

Oops, you're right, I totally messed up the direction of 教えて. I'm not sure I understand that stanza any better now, though.

I think they're saying not to get on the high horse boasting about doing something that's not even that impressive, doing it stealthily with the purpose of bragging.
