Best Magical Girl!!

Q: Which magical girl, from any (Shojo) anime series, is the best, in your view?

I, of course, choose Sailor Moon because her powers are sick and her heart is huge, protecting the innocent from danger.

I love Sailor Moon too but I'm gonna go with Madoka Kaname. She thinks things through, weighs up the consequences, and always strives to do the right thing. She is willing to make sacrifices for the greater good and also puts the lives of her loved-ones above her own. She's brave, modest and incredibly compassionate.

Ilya from Fate: Kaleid Liner Prisma.

This anime uses the same characters from the Fate series, but in a totally unrelated story. It is actually a spoof on the Magic Girl genre. Fate fans may be disappointed. I did not get through the whole series. I missed this part:

My second favorite used to be Sailor Mercury, but now it's Sailor Mars. She seems to be the only one with powers, aside from being a Sailor Guardian.

Magical Witch Punie-Chan. The vicious bloodthirsty daughter of a demonic witch who became queen of her world through very evil ways...

Magical Witch Punie-chan....Kill Them All! That's one of my favorite ones! Also Magical Angel Creamy Mami, she turns into a pop idol from a young girl, (just like Full Moon) and she uses magic at times. Hime-chan from Hime-chan's Ribbon is another good magic girl, she doesn't fight though. As for witches, there are Chocolate and Vanilla from Sugar Sugar Rune, and Nina Sakura from Ultra Maniac. Sailor Moon is the best fighting anime girl though.
