Aokana was a decent 'good mood' type series. It's like a cross between mecha/sports anime but the characters are really down to earth and just really brings a breath of fresh air to a string of more serious animes out there.

Animation: 8/10 it was really well done but not the best persay

Character development: 5/10 only a few characters actually grew and developed as the series went on.

OST: 1/10 the songs throughout the series were not memorable aside from the OP/ED

Storyline: 8/10 it was a decent story but it would dangle some meat in front of you that's grounds for a good plot and then never talk about the meat again. Maybe if there's a season 2 they'll go over some things they skiped

Over-all series rates a 8/10.

It's a cute, enjoyable and quick series to watch. I enjoyed it but I do know it has it's flaws.
