Golgo 13 The Professional (1983)

Highly underrated and excellent crime action thriller in the tradition of James Bond meets Die Hard and Leon about a hitman who just killed an oil baron's son on his birthday and this rich man is after him, but we'll see who is the real enemy in this movie.

I loved this since i was 14 when i rented it as it's sexy, sleek, violent and thrilling too with some emotion like the climax which is powerful, sure the CGI sequence has prehistoric CGI that feels laughable but nice animation from TMS.

i haven't seen this in 20-some years, and even then, only once.
i have the old STREAMLINE PICTURES' "VIDEO COMICS" VHS release that i found at the thrift some years back, i need to get around to watching it...

It's on DVD with the dub and english subbed in Japanese versions with extras.

thanks, i'd have to see my existing copy again to know for certain whether it's something i'd actually want to spend more than the $0.20 or so
that the VHS cost me... ( GOODWILL, VHS 5 for $1.00 )

And the DVD has nice extras, a nice replacement for your VHS even to see the film in it's original subtitled version.
