Just happened not too long ago. Not many details, up to 3 potential shooters, at least 20 civilians down. Investigation and the hunt for the shooter/s is still ongoing.

Not much to go on right now to be honest. Still haven't heard what became of the "suspicious package" either. I really hate that this kind of thing happens at all, whether domestic or international. There is always another way. Violence never solved anything.

I feel bad for saying that I was sorta expecting this. I had to call my aunt and cousins when I first heard about it, since they go to San Bernardino a lot for city trips and shopping. Glad they're safe.

Considering it's California, it could have been a lot worse. Still a tragedy though...

But seriously, all these mass shootings are becoming commonplace. Pretty soon it won't even be big news anymore... Ugh...

The preliminary information we have is 14 dead, 14 wounded. The wounded have been taken to area hospitals.

All of the information is preliminary and may change throughout the course of the investigation. We are all on heighten alert.

Some sources state the Bureau already stepped in and picked out what they wanted. In a really left-field sense, it's okay, but isn't, really. At best, the act is unethical on multiple grounds.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, LAPD was asked if the ordeal was "okay" or not, and the response was that those reporters shouldn't've been there.

This was a few cities away from me. I have family that work in San B that had their workplaces locked down. Some of the victims my coworkers and my sister-in-law knew. This is seriously a screwed up event to happen and especially at this time of year.

This confuses me that we never take notice of these things.

1.Stuff like this has always been happening, you just have 24/7 access to media now. Like it is forever at your finger tips.
2. The way the media is portrayed has a lot to do with what is in the white house. Which party is dominating, and who controls the senate.
Remember during Bush's reign when everyone was upset because he was "war mongering?" Its the same thing just now its with guns.
3. Don't think for a second that Obama doesn't want those gun control laws passed, because he does. So guess what you have never seen portrayed in the media?! People who's lives have been saved by the use of guns. Women who have prevented rape, through the use of guns.

If you still don't understand that we currently live in one of the safest times to live on this planet. You need a history lesson.
