I took the inevitable piano lessons as a kid, managed to finally quit, and then after a few years, secured myself voice lessons. I much preferred those to piano.
I'm not a pro, but I've sung a few solos for recitals/music evenings.
Once I got into college, I had to stop lessons, my schedule was too intense.
Now that I'm graduated, maybe I'll get back into it. It's my dream to be a soloist for a performance of the Messiah.
But for now, I'm just in choir when it starts back up for the Christmas season.
