I thought Appleseed: Alpha had some of the best art I've ever seen, it was a really good film also. I'm going to go with Appleseed: Ex Machina, though. Slightly less in the quality, but Duenan Knute isn't being so heinously brandished as a sex object.
Anything from Studio Ghibli. Anything from 90s/early 2000's Disney. Hercules comes to mind.
The Incredibles
Lion King
Big Hero 6

If we aren't limited to anime only, then there's just too much to choose from. I am such a big Disney Classics fan -- I own almost every single one that has been released (think we only miss five, six or seven in total?) but if I have to narrow down the list... probably Brother Bear. That film speaks to me. I love the culture, the spirituality in it, the voice actors (simply love, love, LOVE Joaquin Phoenix as Kenai) and the story itself. The soundtrack is amazing. Anyone else get goosebumps at the transformation scene in the beginning? Oh, it's been way too long since I saw it, come to think of it. I should watch it this weekend. The sequel is pretty good as well. Disney isn't known to make very good sequels in my opinion. I think Brother Bear 2 and The Lion King 2 are the exceptions for me.
The Lion King is also amazing. It's one of the few Disney Classics that I don't mind watching in both the original language and with Swedish dub. It's very hard to watch in English with the ones I grew up with because I relate the characters with that particular voice. Beauty and the Beast is just horrible in English for me. The Beast is nothing compared to our version. However, if I watch a new Disney Classic is English, then I simply refuse to watch it in Swedish. That's just not possible.
If we're talking about anime films, then I can't say that I've seen any good. I haven't actually seen many at all. I think it's only been two? So, suggestions would be welcomed and to hear why you liked it so much.
