1. Tokyo Ghoul 2's ending was so vague? Did Kaneki really die?

2. Did Amon die? If so, where is his body?

To keep things as spoiler-less as possible: No, Kaneki isn't dead. And Amon most likely isn't either.

As for Amon, that would be really stupid of them to kill both him and Hide off at the same time. The two of them were Kaneki's only remaining connection with his humanity. His status is considered "unknown" at this point, and 9 times out of 10, that means they're coming back at some point.

But then again Hide's status in the manga is "unknown" too, and look what they decided to do to him in the anime. I don't even know anymore.
