Supercell - Perfect Day

I'm going to translate a song called Perfect Day. It's written, composed and arranged by ryo (supercell) and also performed by supercell.
There are some lines that I'm worried about might not sound natural, but that's what I have you guys for Don't be shy when correcting/helping!
I will write the song in romaji first, then the translation (in english ofc)

Translation - English

I walked with open arms on this road without people.
I softly wagered within my heart, because my eyes were closed.

If you fall from the white line, you'll lose.
Doing these things from the past is somehow nostalgic.

It's a perfect day.
We chased after the airplanes vapour trail,
believeing that one day, our hands would reach it.
However, the sky was too far away.
Me being tiny thought that was sad.

Even if a meteorite were to fall down,
I wouldn't have payed attention to it.
Being bound to heaven, I thought "well, whatever".
That's also possible.

A small adventure that day.
It was like we had become stronger.
Our precious memories.

It's a perfect day.
We chased after the airplanes vapour trail.
Even though no one believed our hands could reach it,
I knew it for sure. After all, look, you can see it.
You can definitely catch up to it.

We ran and jumped over dead ends,
to wherever we wanted.

such a perfect day.
once you stop and look up to the sky,
ray of clouds ran through the blue blue canvas.
Similar to the sky one day.
That's why I once more reached out my hands.

The usage of 'kara' after a te-form is different; it signifies sequence: 'X-te kara Y' means "I do Y after I did X".

Eh? How did the subject became plural?

The wording is confusing, the use of 'thought' here is ambiguous, kinda like a crash blossom.
'kanashiku' is an adverb here too, i.e. thinking something sadly doesn't mean thinking something is sad.

You have to understand what this stanza is implying (it was such a good day that if the singer were to suddenly die there it's as if nothing had happened), ryo usually puts off many details like this.
Even if a meteorite came (falling down on me)
I wouldn't have realized it.
My heaven-bound (soul) would say "oh... ah well,
I guess these things do happen."

Again, take out the plurality.
You need to relate the lines in the stanza, it's saying that although the singer is comparing the past to now, the past is still precious to them.

The subject matter is some of the other lines needs to be changed 'cause it's a solo song but good job nonetheless~

I actually didn't know that "kara" after te-form signified sequence. I did however know that "kara" can mean both "because" and "after"
For some reason I thought the subject in the song text was plural. I don't know why, but I just got that feeling. Thanks for correcting me on that.
