What is on your mind? v.2

So much for going to bed early. I don't think I've been able to fall asleep before 4AM for like the past month. (´Д`) It might be because it's been so damn hot in California lately that my body just hibernates during the day (since intense heat literally makes me ill, even if I'm only in it for a short amount of time). I don't even effing know. But it's annoying. I have boring adult stuff I need to take care of, dangit! And particular facilities such as the bank and grocery stores are only open so late. ;-;

Having the same cruddy circadian rhythm means I've been cutting back on my coffee for no reason.

Oh, I'm no stranger to the woes of working graveyard. But I haven't worked graveyard for a year and I still have this problem from time to time, mainly in the summer. My sleeping pattern just likes being backwards to screw with me sometimes. It gets annoying really fast though...

So my friends are finally taking an interest in D&D. I only have the v3.5 core rulebooks (which personally is my favorite), and they're asking me to DM a basic campaign for them. I haven't played in a group since my early college days, but I've written up several scenarios and in-depth adventures/cities/dungeons/NPCs out of boredom over the past couple years. I might add a few more dice to my collection and a DM screen before we start. I'm so excited though.

MY TIME IS NOW.

Is it time to quit my job when they get on your case every day for forgetting one of the 100 things you have to keep track of? ...when new hires ignore you even though you have 3 years experience? ...when you tell management that the newbz aren't cleaning what they should be and they do little about it? ...when they expect you to run an entire kitchen on your own as you bounce from station to station? ...they tell you to be faster when I know I'd be endangering others if I were to do so? ...others slack and horse around out of managements view, but all they see is what you aren't doing? ...when you finally have a breakdown in the restroom?

Also, Isaac Caldiero and Geoff Britten are the first true American Ninja Warriors and that was the most awesome season.

I can't stand people that suck their fingers when they're eating. Those that chew with their mouth open and make gross mouth sounds irritate me even more.
