I don't think the viewership will go down. I mean unless of course the release of Tri shows at the same time XY comes on. If it is not at the same time block then I don't beleive that there will be a decrease on either side.

Pokemon fans are large in numbers, but Digimon's maintained a loyal fanbase. I'm apart of that, something I'm proud of. I don't regret being a DGMN fan for life.

never. although i suppose I have been a fan in spurts. I have always tried to watch the new series, but after the Eggvolution thing in Season 2 I just got put out from it. Tried time and time again to come back to it. This will be my triumphant return to the series.

I've never played a Digimon game, and I really wanna' play Cyber Sleuth. Pokemon games are not as good as they used to be. They ran out of color editions (Yellow, Gold, Sapphire) so now they're going by X and Y. There are other colors too, so I find that to be strange.

I find it bizarre that, throughout the Pokémon anime, Ash Ketchum is still 10-years-old. Digimon has the cast get older, at least in the Digimon: Digital Monsters universe. Plus, Ash's wish to "catch 'em all" went down the drain when the creators started adding new generations of PKMN.

I never watched the digimon shows. At one point I was watching the pokemon shows all the time but it got too corny for me after diamond & pearl. I will always play the pokemon games though. The best digimon game I played was digimon world 4 for the gamecube and that was way beyond any pokemon game i've played

Yes, I know what my username says, but I love both equally. The Pokémon show was great up till DP (Battle Frontiers was my favourite *braces himself for the onslaught of original series fans*) but the games are what makes it. With Digimon, I've never played any of the games, however I've liked all the series so so much!!! Plus most Digimon look so much cooler and it's still worth watching when you're older.

The Pokémon one is more nostalgic and means more to me sentimentally as it was basically my childhood, but I think songwise I prefer Digimon. But yeah, both are still epic.

Pokemon went downhill when Veronica Taylor (Ash's voice actor) left the series. Digimon, however, still holds the fans' interest, despite all the hiatuses the show has had to make a new series.

I thought she was Misty's voice actress... she's done a lot of good work though. Even TMNT and Slayers

Veronica Taylor's better than Sarah Natochenny (hope I spelled that right), voice-wise. I'd go on more, but I'm a Digimon fan. It's the best.

DIGIMON WAS SO MUCH BETTER.. well the first series was the second was ok the third one where the human turned into digimon got really screwed up but the movies they macde for digimon was good and the series were pretty good. Pokemon is ok but its been on forever, and y does jesse and james from team rocket have to get pikachu and stick to ash.
