Let's talk Figurines

@_CTA_ I really like those Bandai Sailor Moon figmas. I have all of them so far except Pluto. And that special edition 'Imposter Sailor Moon'. I'm unsure wether I will buy Sailor V or not. Also has anyone seen those gorgeous Love Live! figures by Alter? They are to die for! Just don't know if I can justify the expense.....

Alter figures are beyond my budget, after I bought my very own ALTAIR Nanase Haruka, I promised myself not to fall into the Alter trap anymore. :') That's why I opted to cheaper like Banpresto prize figures (I'm an Eli fangirl and I'm saving for a Banpresto PVC. I already pre-ordered her training nendo :') )

I'm in LOVE with Sailor V. Heck, I love V-chan more than Moon, but it's ridiculously off my budget at the moment (well, it's a given since it's a Premium Bandai SHF)

I saw Pluto SHF being on sale on Gundam Planet for 10%, if you want to add that to your collection.

(Unrelated, but I hate Premium Bandai so much for making me fall into the Sailor Moon makeup line. I have few of them already )

I'm currently in a dilemma whether I should sell my Cu-Poche Dark Magician Girl or keep it. :')

I checked out this site, but the postage to Australia is more than the actual figure! The cheapest I can find is Plamoya. Any other suggestions??

I have a statue/figure of Joe Shimamura from Cyborg 009.

Apparently only 100 or so were made and they were all hand made, so each one is unique in of its own. That's the only figure I had and I'm quoting what was on the box.

I hope to get more soon though. I really like figurines ^^

I got mine from a Japanese store in Disney World xD

I suggest you to get it there, because I checked the price under second-hand category in Japan, and the price doubled due to rarity.

I ended up deciding I couldn't possibly live without the Love Live! collection from Alter. I bought Kotori and Nico so far and I'm getting Rin and Nozomi for my birthday next month. They are actually amazing. The detail is exquisite. I'll share some pics once I've got them on display.

I would probably have a lot more, but they're so freaking expensive. DX I have a couple of cheap Vocaloid ones I got from a con last year (Meiko and Luka~ <3) and a limited edition statue of Mad Moxxi from Borderlands (I realize the irony here because that thing cost me about $280 from the official Gearbox store, but that was the single most expensive piece of merchandise for anything I've ever bought purely because MOXXI! x3 Plus the thing is GORGEOUS! Not to mention super high quality, huge, and hand painted.). Other than that, all I have are Funko Pop figures because they're cheaper. xD Even the Vocaloid ones were only like $40 each, and I got a discount on top of that for buying two. lol

1/6 scale Character Dolls are my preferred poison. they can be pricey, most i've ever spent on one being just shy of around $150.00 USD shipped, the least, just under $13.00 USD shipped.

all the same, even the most overpriced Anime Dolls are well worth the money, IMO, as they can be a hobby unto themselves,
allowing for an unparalleled degree of creative freedom in Dress-Up/customization options virtually nonexistent in the Character Statue/Figurine product genre;

@blueangel06661 yes I believe she was a bit pricey. But I love Key so much! I had to have her. Especially with the little dinosaurs - "Gao". So far Kotori (Love Live) has been the most expensive. She cost me just over $400 AUD. But I have no regrets!

I saw these on instagram and the details are amazing. I really love the skirt and the ribbon on the staff. So beautiful; I know that figure was expensive but the detail is precise on it.

Anyways, I just unboxed my Tsurumaru Kuninaga nendoroid since I was out of town.
