hello everybody, kyary-san here ♫ Like most people posting in this section, I'm new to the forums, so please don't bite if I say or do something wrong! ♥ I'm a constant worrier, so I hope this introduction is okay! (✿◠‿◠)

I have got some questions though, so please help answer if you can~

1) How do we earn 'GIL'? and also,
2) If we buy from AF Shop, do we have to 'equip' our item or something so we can show it when we post on forum?

Welcome to Anime Forum, Siesta. To answer your question, so far I have earned gils by posting and making threads. Making threads seems to give you more gils (around 80?) than posting (about 15?). I honestly have not bought anything from the shop yet, so I cannot answer your second question.

Hello there and welcome to AF. ^_^ Hydrus answered the first question, but for the second one once you purchase an item, you can either send it to someone else or to yourself I believe. (I haven't bought from the shop in a while.) Once you buy it for yourself, it automatically shows up on your 'gifts' when you post. You get gil by posting in threads or making threads yourself.....as for buying things, i haven't bought anything so i can't answer the second half of your question....sorry

To answer your question, you can earn gils by posting and opening new threads, and also go in chat to play games there. Most people just play Black Jack. I don't though cause I'm not good at it.
Equip? It's more like, if you buy something, it will automatically show. If you buy/get given gifts, the latest gifts that you have will be shown. If you buy something like customizing user title, then it will show automatically, no need to equip.
