Femae cosplay suggestions please

I would love to hear your suggestions for a female cosplay outfit!!

I am for once not working the convention, so I thought I might do some cosplay. My wife also might want to as well but usually I just stick her in a corset and go. With time to prepare, I had no suggestions for her. Too many years of not enough anime for me =/
This would be for Comiccon or AX this next year (2014). I figure with that much warning, I might actually get an outfit together.

My wife is ~5'6'' so neither short nor tall, but about 6' in shoes.
She has mid-length black hair but a wig would be fine.
She does not wear glasses and contacts could be an option.

Hmm, lots of views, no responses. Maybe if we up the ante...

Measurements are 32/52-24-44 (20'' waist in a corset), so a well-endowed heroine would work best.

The black hair makes me think of Sailor Mars.... I am a big fan of Rangiku too.

Personally I think Misato would be fun ('cause I am old and really liked Evangelion) but I think the body profile may not work. I will see if I can get Mami to match, just because it would be a fun costume to put together.

Maybe she could try Harui Suzumiya since she has a mid length hair. Her cosplay is not that hard, you should buy some accessories and a school girl outfit for her appearance. How it suits her well. I've recently tried that cosplay last year's convention, the whole costume was from www.cosplaysushi.com and I like to share it with you.
