The Power Of Frequency
If both systems are going to end up having almost every game like they did in the previous gen, then it doesn't matter which system you get. I've never really been an xbox user, but I don't hate microsoft since they also make pretty good games. I just don't see any point in getting both and considering I mostly like sony exclusive games like Infamous, God of War, Devil May Cry, and Uncharted games, I am sticking with a PS4
I don't like Microsoft. I only use Windows because it's the best OS to use if you like playing PC games. People now forget that MS were dicks even back in the 90's.
I get the XBOX systems because I get all the systems. This time around however I'm going to try and "survive" with only one console. Since the original XBOX was my 3rd or 4th console of that gen and the 360 was like 5 or 6, I'll go with PS4 and skip the XBOX One for now.
Not an exclusive anymore....since like early 2008.
Or actually 2006 cause of DMC3 being ported to PC
_______
But on topic; you really have to be brainwashed to get an Xbox One.
PS4 & Wii U wins, tbh.
Xbox One might not even get exclusives if some games end up being ported for PC.

...says the ps4 to xb1. and it ams totallys right.
even if Microsoft got rid of all the crap they were spewing out about the xb1, they already went over the edge. You can only piss people off so much before losing their support. and they took it too far. So yea, ps4 all day.
Hmmm... Been a whileSit back some time and simply ask yourself, [Link]->"Do you even lift, bro?"<-[Link]
I'll be sticking to the Sony consoles and get a PS4 over an XboxOne. I'm not one for getting two systems, since most games tend to show up on both systems anyway. Even if I was, I probably wouldn't get an XboxOne, simply because it's just not my thing.
On a side note, even with everything that has been going on with Microsoft, I'm pretty confident they'll keep a good percentage of their fanbase at release, but their actions have done some damage for sure.
I'm still deciding, but I'll probably get the PS4 for the Japanese games.
I'll be getting the PS4 only because Sony consoles have a lot more JRPGs than Microsoft consoles do. I own both the 360 and PS3 and I enjoy the PS3 more because it has a lot more games that appeal to me.
Well, Xbox just announced dropping the price to 350 and will be allowing people to make their own custom games without needing publisher support. There will be an approval process, which theyre looking into being about 2 weeks [14 days].
Gotta say, its pretty inciting.

I've also been told some news about the differences between the two consoles' amounts and usage of RAM, which is beginning to make me feel the XBO's RAM won't be as bad as people think.
... And seriously. If Microsoft make Kinect optional and not mandatory for the XBO, that will be what makes me order one. I can probably deal with their shitty OS. I've had enough with the Orwellian paranoia surveillance though.

Xbox One is terrible; they 'require' access to every electronic device in the household or something stupid like that.
PS4 ftw
This is not at all true and I'm wondering where you heard that.
I was adamantly opposed to the Xbox One on principle because of its lack of indie support, mandatory Kinect connection, always-on DRM, and lack of used games support. Now they've gotten rid of three of those four things, and they added the ability to use the XB1 as a devkit, so I'm more supportive.
Still, I'm probably going to get a PS4 first. I'll get get an Xbox One down the line, and stick a piece of duct tape over the Kinect sensor or something. (Supposedly you can do that, by the way. The rumor that the system would shut off if the Kinect can't detect you is unfounded.)
I don't plan to get either system for a while, though. Not until they've both built up a solid game library, and once all of the information and issues with each system have come to light.
Get some exercise this summer and raise money to fight disease. Find a free charity walk in your area:

Light The Night for Leukemia & Lymphona | Great Strides for Cystic Fibrosis
That, too. I don't really have the money right now to blow $400 on a new system, let alone $900 for both. A new gaming PC and an HDTV are higher priorities for me, anyway.

I already recently forked out $2000 for a new gaming computer so that's why when it comes to these new consoles I'm genuinely not too fussed for the time being; most of the games that I'd be thinking of getting will be coming out via Steam anyway, so I'm not in a rush.
It's basically boiling down to the fact that Microsoft's kinda bullshitted themselves into a hole with their Orwellian TV-steaming box, but yet I still don't particularly want a PS4. I'd probably make my mind up much quicker if they dropped that damn Big Brother Sensor (it's bad enough the government is going Big Brother on my browsing history FFS), but right now I don't want either. I'm just going to wait a while for games to come out before I make a choice.
Maybe my view is retarded, but I'm not wasting $500 on a console I'm not going to want to use.
