Waiting in the Summer (Ano Natsu de Matteru)

An anime already licensed by Sentai Filmworks and an anime recently added to my growing anime collection. As I type this, I just finished episode 2 and am really enjoying it due to the obvious quality in it and an anime that seems like it will have a decent story. For people unaware, here is a quick summary of the show: While testing his 8mm camera at night, Kaito Kirishima is caught amid a mysterious explosion in his small town. Strangely, Kaito wakes up the next day perfectly fine, but with no recollection of what exactly happened the day before. Unfazed by what seems to have been just a dream, he heads to school not giving much thought to the incident. Discussing with his friends about the camera, they decide to make a movie during summer break. They invite two upperclass students to participate in the project: recently arrived Ichika Takatsuki and the odd Remon Yamano. In a strange twist of fate, Ichika starts living with Kaito as his sister has to work overseas. Summer days are about to get exciting for the small film crew.

I highly enjoyed this anime. Great characters and also different from your normal love triangle story you get. I'd give this out as a recommendation to anyone looking for a good slice of life romance.

Yeah i saw this awhile back. Really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say it's overly fantastic, but it is good and worth the watch.

I highly enjoyed this anime. Great characters and also different from your normal love triangle story you get. I'd give this out as a recommendation to anyone looking for a good slice of life romance.

I remember all the characters being bearable in that anime, with a few being pretty good. And the opening isn't that bad, the video is actually pretty cool.

Loved, loved, loved this anime when it came out! not a fan of love triangles, or dare I say pentagons (there were so many love interests amongst the characters), but it all worked out so nicely with lots of feels throughout the entire anime, one of the better animes from 2011
