Fine maybe the things you pointed out mean THOSE things weren't specifically based on NGE, but look at a close in pic on part of the "blueprint" of that one Jaeger. It clearly says "NGE" on it! If that isn't a reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion, then I don't know what is.

Though to be fair, it's the closest NGE that fits. Still, just because one includes NGE (as what I assume is a reference point in measurement) doesn't mean that they're stealing the whole thing. Did you ever stop to think that some graphic designer was making an ode to (or paying homage to) Eva by including that. Also the same thing could be said about the other measurements or whatever had you NJ, GA, J, JD... NJ = Neo Japan (G-Gundam); GA = Gasaraki; J = Japan (Land of the Mecha Anime), JD = Jack Daniels (Robots love their alcohol. See Futurama for reference). Also it could simply just be the fact that they're marking the height of a EVA for reference to the Jaeger.

I saw it, and it was not like "Neon Genesis Evangelion", "Big O", "Giant Robo", "Gundam", or even "Gigantor." It was totally original. GO SEE IT! IT IS WORTH IT!
