    Cool New Year, New Books

Alright my lovelies, the New Year is less than a week away, so lets get some good recommendations for 2016! Lets try to stick with novellas, novels, and series. I'll start with three for yall.

In garbage YA novels that I shouldn't read but can't help myself:
    The Mortal Instruments
It's not the best thing I've ever read, but gosh darn if I don't like some predictable, but intriguing plots.

In the category of good lord this is disturbing:
    1984
Communism can be just as scary as capitalism

In the category of dumb terrible romance:
    Call Me Cat Trilogy
Idk man its just so awful I love it

Now y'all post some because I love to read.

I've gone on a spree of reading books that are coming out as movies in 2016. These are what I've read through so far:

    The 5th Wave
Very terrifying, out of the norm alien book that actually gave me the chills multiple times while reading.

    A Monster Calls
I'm in the process of reading this right now. It's very emotional so far and I'm enjoying it.

    The Maze Runner Series
So far the first two movies have come out and I've seen them. So far as I'm reading, the writing isn't the most complex but the story is really great.

I burn through books a little to fast,

I'll recommend some authors and examples instead of just books (I hope that's alright ^^)

I'll first recommend an author I'm going through, one of which people probably have heard of: Haruki Murakami; Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage, and 1Q84 are two books I've recently read by him.

I download chick lits and free books from bookbub, lots of freebies that are sourced from Google books and ITunes...
Like I said, I burn through books so it's nice to find sales.

I always recommend things by Neil Gaiman (like American gods, and Neverwhere)

If you're into poetry, try Lang Leav, beautiful series of work.
Sorry, again not 100% what you were asking. It's just so hard to narrow down ones you might like when an author can have pretty diverse work.

I read American Gods this past year. I found it to be quite enjoyable, but to be honest I'm not sure I digested all of the meaning the book intended to convey.

My favorite reads from the past year:

Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell: Susanna Clarke
The Remains of the Day: Kazuo Ishiguro
    Ubik: Philip K. Dick
