Well, a few suggestions:

- Pretty much every movie made by Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki.
- Redline.
- Kara no Kyoukai "movies" (more of a series consisting of 50 minute episodes).
- Toaru Hikuushi e no Tsuioku.
- Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu (can only recommend this if you've watched the series aswell).
- Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door.
- Hotarubi no Mori e.
- The Place Promised in Our Early Days

Summer Wars is an amazing one.
Evangelion 1.11 and Evangelion 2.22 have so far been amazing.
Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle are great, but you can expect that from a Miyazaki film.
And, recently, I watched a movie called Bagi, Monster of Mighty Nature, and old 80s movie by Osamu Tezuka, I believe, and its pretty good, though not a whole lot of people seem to talk about it.
