What's the weirdest anime you have ever watched?

Serial Experiments Lain....It was so very strange...In the first episode one is treated to seeing clouds of smoke come out of someone's fingers. The main character talks extremely little and wears a bear suit. The father of the household has a bunch of computer monitors in his office and he seems to have an excessive love of the internet.

Wow, no one mentioned Arakawa Under the Bridge? Well you can always expect something unique from SHAFT and this one is definitely that! As bizarre as it was, I actually sat through season 2 just to see if the series was going anywhere....it didn't....

I seen FLCL (even though never seen a lot of the show just a few Episodes) and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo growing up and thought they were odd shows. I didn't hate them just not understand them much. Also Dead Space: Downfall I watched and was um interesting but weird. o.0 If I remember correctly did not like the ending..

Elfen Lied, I was not expecting the plot to be like that since I started on the anime even though the title seems awesome. Creeped me out for a day. :'<

For me it's Ergo Proxy and Bakemonogatari(Nisemonogatari) but i actually liked them o-o
