It's still better than listening to He-man give another speech.
Here are some good examples of villains who are the main characters

Anime is a lot like sex. Done right it's a beautiful act of creation that brings a little more light into the world. If it's sick and wrong... it's even better.

It is always the villain that makes what a story is he/she is what makes the story as a whole watching a movie like lets say snow white imagine there was no witch it just would not be interesting. The villain is the person that gets everyone a little mad inside it is the person you hate to be there but also love to be there at the same time.
both. they are equally important.. a hero would be likable and more lovable... but a villain could be way cooler.

Seriously you cn do without a hero, but not a decent villain... or at least someone who auses trouble. Even the Christian god got that one.

Hero is always the heart of the program(or anything), but they are nothing without Villain, so, I think Villain are more imp than hero..
UnExpected....
how are there 55 posts and only 11 votes on this poll?
I really am astounded at how little respect the protagonists are getting from this community.
interesting to read the different points of view.
I wanna say both. You can't have one without the other. They are both equally important but, thats just me.
Villain, because without them the hero is just some chump going about their day.
I know violence isn't the answer. It's the question, and the answer is yes.
Villian
