I have never seen snow :-( it looks so pretty!

I really love the last shot. The contrast between the light and darkness is so big.
Combining that with a landscape shot is really clever. Its fantasy like.

Its nice if your just looking at it but a different story when you have to shovel or run a snowblower for hours! I've been meaning to put a plow on my truck but we just dont get a lot of snow frequently here, usually only 1-4" which I just drive over. The few storms we have more than that I have a small snow blade on my old garden tractor. Everyone else around here says how much a pain it is but I enjoy the seat time on the tractor so its no bother to me, its fun!

This is from a couple winters ago, the most we have had in the few years since I lived here...


Thats my son there, on me its about up to my waist but thats a spot that drifts in the wind, it was closer to a foot worth of snow in reality. Took a good 2-3 hours with the garden tractor to clear all of that, and it was about the limit at which the small tractor could handle.

Were I grew up gets a lot more, my folks are still there in northern New York State, here is a shot of my mom with the snow they get there!
