Princess Tutu is more than cute...It has a dark side to the story too. It's a really indepth and well thought out series-especially for a so-called Magical Girl series.

I finished this anime a long time ago o.o
But It's a really good anime, worth watching and very sweet.
Sadly, the ending is not what I have expected.

I think Princess Tutu was one of the cutest anime's I've watched, but the ending felt as though it needed some extra love it never got.

I finished it some months ago. I thought it was a bit boring, but the characters was interesting enough for me to keep watching, and the plot became more interesting towards the end. It wasn't the best magical girl series I have seen but it wasn't the worst either. I kind of liked it, but it felt a bit too long.

And for the ending.

 

I liked it, it was a bit unexpected and not the normal happy ending that people wants. I liked how the series paired them up in the end, and I liked that the duck girl didn't get a 'get out of jail card'. We knew from the beginning that she would return to being a duck when the story's over, and they kept it that way instead of pleasing the fans by letting her stay human.

So yeah, I liked and disliked it. xD

what is this one of the few, if not the only Anime series in existence that focuses on such a concept?
