I downloaded an emulator for the Japanese version of Animal Crossing: Wild World and I'm trying to take it really slow and understand each sentence thrown at me. Could someone please help translate these menu commands/phrases?

Are you sure the second option says Streetpass? Because I thought that was a 3DS feature.

「すれちがい通信」 literally translates to "passing-each-other-communication", or "communication-in-passing". It refers to a feature that automatically detects and exchanges data with other users when they enter your vicinity.

There doesn't seem to be an officially recognized English name for this feature, but I did a quick Google search, and the closest thing that came up was "Streetpass Communication". I could be wrong on this point, though.
