Anyway, aside from that garbage, I think Lolita wear is neat, and if you're interested in that sort of style, by all means you should pursue it ^^ I don't know much about the other styles that were mentioned though.

Lolita, Mori Girl, and Dolly Kei are cute styles, but I'm a huge fan of the Fairy Kei style. I love the pastel colors used.

Look, your everyday attire is supposed to, if not reflect, then be proportional to your current state of being. When I drive by, windowshopping for hookers, I can tell which women are available and which are just waiting for the bus to arrive; the clothes give me a hint. When you dress like a megawhore (save for special occasions) and swag around with a "Can't touch dis! Can't touch dis" attitude 24/7, you're not only a fake, but you're giving yourself too much unacquired importance.
Also, rest assured those 12 year old fake-lolitas are dreaming that a tall, handsome guy with attitude and a leather jacket will pick them up someday and make them ride their motorcycle.

Well, I always thought that this sort of fashion is exact opposite of "dressing up as a hooker". True, the dresses are very pretty and elegant and many guys get boners from them 24/7 but they are less revealing then your average casual clothes worn by your average Jane.

I like visual kei, (1996) dir en grey! I still listen to them cuz they r pretty amazing! DIO is good too also Sadie! Chariots and etc. I don't want to sounds boring lol cuz I like a lot of visual kei! *^^*
